Portal launched to facilitate trade for Vietnamese enterprises

Available on the web at https://vntf.vn/ , the portal was created and administered by the VCCI under a project funded by the US Agency for International Development to promote transparency and accountability in trade facilitation.

The goal of the VNTF is to support the relevant sides to access guidelines on trade facilitation policies, laws and news and create an interaction space between ministries, agencies, experts and enterprises.

With trade playing an important role in the Vietnamese economy, the VNTF will be a trusted site in providing policy and legal assistance for the business community, since information transparency is one of the pillars of trade facilitation.

Representatives of many enterprises have suggested that information on export-import policies and laws needs to be publicised and updated promptly and should be easy to understand and easily accessible for enterprises.

Those involved in export-import activity also wish to enhance interaction with competent agencies so that difficulties in the legal compliance process can be promptly reported and addressed.

Therefore, the VNTF is expected to be a useful and effective information channel to support enterprises to integrate proactively and take a bigger part in policy actions on trade facilitation.
