Popularizing tuna for tourists

As for the domestic market, more localities are exploiting tuna for developing tourism through unique activities. In Phu Yen Province, a Japanese chef demonstrates how to process, cook, and eat locally caught ocean tuna in the Japanese way.

Every year, fishermen in Phu Yen gather over 5.000 tons of ocean tuna, and much of it is exported at low prices. Therefore, the Phu Yen government is popularizing tuna products in many different ways. Tuna demonstrations are the easiest way for tourists to evaluate its quality.
