Pickleball VTV Open Tournament 2026 Concludes with Memorable Moments

Held at the Humana Hanoi Pickleball Court, the tournament wrapped up in a lively and friendly  atmosphere of sportsmanship. The awards ceremony honored  not only outstanding athletes but also celebrated fair play, enthusiastic spectator support, and a strong sense of connection among professionals in journalism, television, and media.

As part of the activities marking the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the tournament brought together nearly 370 athletes from Vietnam Television, along with  representatives from central government agencies, ministries, organizations, and media outlets nationwide. From the opening ceremony to the final matches and awards presentation, the event created a vibrant and meaningful sporting festival.

Exciting Competition Atmosphere

Pickleball is an easy-to-learn sport   and suitable for players of different ages, yet it still requires agility, observational skills, and teamwork. As a result,   this year's tournament matches showcased the participants’ dedication to training and love of sports, as well as their competitive spirit.

The tournament featured several competition categories, including a leadership division, a division for athletes aged 46 and above, and a division for athletes aged 45 and below. Each   included men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events. This diverse competition structure encouraged broad participation and added variety to the tournament.

An Emotional Awards Ceremony

Following a day of exciting matches, the awards ceremony was the highlight of the event's closing activities. The venue was filled with applause and celebration from  the gathere athletes, colleagues, and supporters . For the winners, the awards represented recognition of their hard work, perseverance, and dedication throughout the tournament.

In addition to the main competition awards, the organizing committee also presented special prizes, including a Style Award. These awards added   further excitement to the event and  highlighted  the tournament's friendly, healthy, and community-focused spirit.

The  ceremony was defined more  by moments of shared joy than by trophies and rankings. Participants gathered for photos, exchanged congratulations, and celebrated together after a successful day of competition. For many athletes,  meeting, competing, and connecting with their peers was just as meaningful as the results themselves.
