Phu Yen farmers to harvest rice to reduce flood danages

Currently, Phu Yen farmers have only harvested about 13 thousand hectares of rice in a total area of over 24 thousand hectares. Due to the weather, the cost to hire people to harvest rice has increased 3 times. The Phu Yen Department of Agriculture and Rural Development recommends that during this time, farmers should visit their fields more often to check the levels of flood and come up with timely solutions to remove the water from the fields to protect the crops.
