Phu Quoc cable car soon put into operation

This is thanks to the Phu Quoc-Hon Thom Cable Car that will be put into operation. The cable car is 95% completed, while the stations are also in the finishing stage. The Phu Quoc- Hon Thom cable car project started in September 2015.

This is a 3-wire cable car, nearly 8km length, linking An Thoi town with Hon Thom Island. According to the design, the cable will run at the speed of 8.5m a second and be capable of carrying 3,500 passengers an hour. It will apparently be the longest cable car in the world.
