Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Phuc Ha said the festival displays over 420 peach trees in full bloom.
A wide range of activities such as art performances staged by local and foreign art troupes from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and China will be held as past of the event.
The festival will also feature a photo exhibition, traditional Then singing, and lion dances.
According to the organising board, a new highlight of this year’s event is the display of peach trees from the three aforesaid countries at the Chi Lang Park, Lang Son city.
A tour to visit peach gardens in the province will be made available for visitors.
The festival will run until February 16.
