Paving the way for urban areas for universities in Hoa Lac

The decision was made by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on a working visit to VNU this morning. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc granted VNU the right to decide investment projects based on its development strategy.

According to the Prime Minister’s decision, related agencies are tasked with applying for a loan of 200 million US dollars from the World Bank to build the urban area for universities.

The project was approved by the Party and the State 30 years ago, however it has not been completed in nearly 20 years of implementation due to the lack of capital.
