Passion for maths

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a special event of the International Conference on Optimal Algorithms and Related Issues to commemorate the 90th birthday of Professor Hoang Tuy, a famous Vietnamese mathematician known for his work in optimal algorithms.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called on the young generation to be confident to engage in scientific research.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc suggested the mathematician further research applied mathematics in areas where the Vietnamese economy is in dire need, especially improving technology, productivity and efficiency of the economy as well as the lives of people.
