In his letter, the Party leader hailed that over the past two decades, the Ministry has made great efforts to overcome all difficulties and challenges to provide strategic consultancy to the Party and State, on the promulgation of many major policies and decisions on resources and the environment such as land, minerals, marine economic development, environmental protection, and climate change adaption.
The Ministry has gathered highly qualified staff with dedication, a high spirit of innovation, creativity, and international integration, who are working across the country and have made an important contribution to promoting sustainable socio-economic development and protecting national sovereignty protection while solving global challenges, he wrote.
As the country is facing challenges such as resource depletion, climate change and the decline of natural ecosystems, he called on the ministry to become more proactive in forecasting capacity and adopting solutions to promptly and effectively respond to climate change and natural disasters, while strengthening the management of natural resources and environmental protection.
He also requested the ministry to accelerate international integration and enhance its participation in global initiatives, thus contributing to addressing global environmental challenges.
