Under the theme "Packaging for a Brighter Tomorrow", Packaging Speak Out 2024 - Vietnam competition encapsulates the company's dedication to revitalizing the Vietnamese packaging industry through innovation and sustainable growth. Participants are encouraged to submit packaging designs utilizing paper, plastic, or a combination of both, tailored for products from prominent brands such as Mondelez Kinh Do and Barona - Nam Phuong Food, across the following categories:
1. Sustainable Packaging for E-Commerce: Transporting packaging that ensures product safety during transit while enhancing the customer experience. These designs should also incorporate reusability or recyclability features for end consumers, addressing the growing need for sustainable e-commerce solutions.
2. Gift Set: Packaging for product collections intended for individual sale as gifts. Participants can utilize corrugated paper or rigid box materials to deliver creative and functional designs that elevate the gift-giving experience.
3. Marketing Display: Innovative display solutions that aim to enhance brand visibility and drive sales through. They include Point of Sale Materials (POSM), Shelf Ready Packaging (SRP), Counter Displays, and Floor Displays.
The competition welcomes students aged 17 to 25 and is open to all genders and nationalities, provided applicants are residents of Vietnam and enrolled in a Vietnamese educational institution, college, or university. Contestants can participate individually or in groups of up to three members, allowing for collaboration across different universities.
To recognize and reward outstanding talent and innovation in sustainable packaging design, the competition offers a substantial total prize pool of 180 million VND. This significant prize is distributed across various categories and special awards, demonstrating SCGP's commitment to fostering creativity and sustainability in the packaging industry.
Especially, a comprehensive seminar for Packaging Speak Out 2024 - Vietnam will be held on September 21st, 2024 at 8th floor, Hallroom of HUTECH University. This event will feature a keynote session by renowned packaging design expert Mr. Andy Ho - CEO & Executive Creative Director, Bracom Agency, who will explore the latest packaging trends in Vietnam and their impact on design practices. The seminar will also include a panel discussion with Ms. Juthamart Sayampol, Manager - Creative Design Management, Inspired Studio and Packaging Solutions, SCGP, and representatives from Mondelez Kinh Do and Barona - Nam Phuong Food, offering in-depth insights into the evolving consumer and market demands for packaging solutions. Registered participants will have exclusive networking opportunities to connect with industry professionals, participate in interactive workshops on sustainable material selection and innovative design techniques, and attend career guidance sessions to support their competition entries and future careers.
