Outstanding young faces of 2018 honored

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh attended the annual national award event to honor young people at home and abroad who have excelled in various categories.

In the culture-arts category, Miss Vietnam H'hen Nie was selected as this year's winner. Born into an ethnic family in Dak Lak, she won the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant in 2017 and finished in the top five at the global Miss Universe 2018 competition. Also on the list, footballer Nguyen Quang Hai was named as the exceptional figure in the sports sector. This year, up to 137 youths, including 38 young women and nine individuals from ethnic backgrounds, were nominated for the award.
