VTV.vn - The special online symphony concert will be organized at 8pm on June 27 and broadcast live on VTV1, aiming at raising money from individuals and organizations in Vietnam and abroad.

Immortal melodies of world-famous composers will be performed by artists from the HCMC Ballet Symphony and Ballet Theatre. The music night was conducted online by Conductor Le Phi Phi from Europe and outstanding artist Vuong Thach in Vietnam.

Organizations and individuals who are in Vietnam and abroad could support the Vietnam Fund for Vaccination Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 by sending money to the fund's bank accounts, text-to-donate through texting COVID NK, and sending to 1408, or contributing online via website https://www.quyvacxincovid19.gov.vn .

The fund was established on June 6, 2021, with an aim of raising money to buy vaccines for the Covid-19 pandemic fight.

Though Vietnam has been one of the most successful countries in the world in containing the Covid-19 pandemic as evidenced by low infection and death rates, the pandemic is still evolving with new strains behind the recent surge of domestic cases in Vietnam.

In order to return life to normal, the Party and State set the goal to administer free vaccines to all people to soon achieve herd immunity, considering it a fundamental, long-term, strategic and decisive solution to get rid of the pandemic.

Individuals, organizations and businesses inside and outside the country could donate to the fund by transferring money to bank accounts, texting COVID NK to 1408 or registering to make donations to specific provinces, cities or agencies online at: https://www.quyvacxincovid19.gov.vn.

Through the website, benefactors can also send messages to encourage COVID-19 prevention and control efforts in the country.

The concert is one of the activities to help the country soon achieve herd immunity against SARS-CoV-2 and bring life back to normal.
