Oil, gas opperations within sovereign waters

VTV.vn - Vietnam's oil and gas operations take place within Vietnamese sovereign waters, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang told the press on Friday.

She underscored that operations comply with international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Vietnam asks all parties to respect Vietnam's legitimate rights and interests while positively and practically contributing to peace and co-operation in the East Sea
