Northern region flood mitigation efforts

10 people were killed and 2 people remain missing following flooding in the country's northern mountainous region. Meanwhile, rains have caused floods and landslide in 7 northern provinces. Local authorities are implementing measures to mitigate the problems caused by floods and helped local people. Some localities have evacuated residents from flooded areas, supported them with repairing their houses, searched for missing people and fixed roads.
