No-deal Brexit rejected in UK parliament

The British Members of Parliarment defied the government by voting 321 to 278 in favour of a motion that ruled out a potentially disorderly "no-deal" Brexit under any circumstances. On Thursday, MPs will vote on whether to ask the EU for permission to delay the date for departure. Extending the timeframe for Brexit would require approval from all 27 remaining EU member countries.
