New movie to replace Underground Storm
VTV.vn - The TV series "Little Road to Life" will air at the broadcast schedule at 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on VTV1 after the movie Underground Storm ends.

The "generation gap" is often considered a cause of disagreement, but sometimes, people from completely different generations can still become close friends and reach common understanding.

"Little Road to Life" is a film that proves this when it tells a unique and interesting friendship story of a teenager and a retired motorcycle taxi driver.

The story revolves around Dung, a high school student and his "best friend" of about 60 years old, Mr. Thanh, are from two different generations and their bond grows from a "client" - "motorcycle taxi driver" relationship to gradually becoming two friends who sympathize, understand and support each other at all times. Dung has lived with his father since childhood, he has everything but family meals with his dad, because Mr. Hoang, Dung's father, is busy all year round with work.

And Mr. Thanh, a retired civil servant, decided to work as a motorcycle taxi driver just to be less alone in his cold relationship with his wife and son. Two people, one old and one young, have one in common which is the loneliness in their own house.

The rift between Dung and his father widened when Mr. Hoang publicly announced his relationship with Thao, a woman for whom Dung had no sympathy. Moreover, Dung was misunderstood by his father for having a shady relationship with Hoai, a girl with a complicated private life that Dung accidentally met in a game store, which worsens the father-son conflict.

It was at that moment that Dung realized that the only person he could trust, the one who understood his thoughts, was Mr. Thanh: the motorcycle taxi driver who appears to be cunning, who loves money, but inside, he is a nice and generous person.

Not only was Mr. Thanh always present when Dung needs him, but he also became a bridge, helping Dung's father realize that a father's job is not simply to provide for his children.

"Little Road to Life" tells the story of "crisis at age 18" from a very modern perspective, through very close and candid themes. More specifically, it deals with a very special friendship that very few movies have touched upon before.

This will be a funny but also meaningful story about the special friendship of an 18-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man. The "unusual" friendship between Dung and Mr. Thanh is proof of the fact that generation gap is not the cause of disagreements and conflicts, but the fact that we have not spent enough time to listen to each other.

"Little Road to Life" is a tender story that does not have to be dogmatic and educational, but will be the stories of the psychological shocks of young people and parents.

The film with an air of youth is made by a fresh and enthusiastic cast, with the participation of veteran artists such as People's Artist Bui Bai Binh and People's Artist Ngoc Thu promises to bring good time for audiences who love Vietnamese films. Young actor Hoang Long is very nervous when he takes on the first leading role in his career.

Starring together with Long is actor Hiep Do, who has appeared in VFC films before such as "Fleeing Youth," "Game of Luck" and actor Ngoc Huyen who once starred in the film "Mirror Mask".

The film also features fairly new faces such as Quynh Luong, Kim Oanh and the comeback of actor Phan Anh after a long absence.

"Little Road to Life" is the upcoming product of the director duo Nguyen Duc Hieu and Le Do Ngoc Linh, who once created a stir with "11 months and 5 days" that was loved by young audiences.

The movie "Little Road to Life" will be officially broadcast at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, starting on June 8, 2022 on VTV1.
