Nearly 11.78 million pandemic-hit workers benefit from unemployment insurance

The spending was in line with the Government’s Resolution 116/NQ-CP and the Prime Minister’s Decision 28/QD-TTg on assisting employees and employers impacted by the pandemic.

As of November 16, the agency approved applications of 805 units invloving over 152,000 employees in 57 provinces and cities to be temporarily suspended from paying the pension and death gratuity fund with an amount of more than 1.065 trillion VND.

At the same time, the VSS has confirmed a list of more than 2.47 million employees from 64,900 units in 63 provinces and cities to be benefited from different policies for aid, training, and preferential loans.
