Natural disaster mapping

Six regions with different climate change scenarios facing saline and flood risks in the Mekong Delta include Plain of Reeds, Long Xuyen Quadrangle, West Hau River, Ca Mau Peninsula and coastal areas of the south.

With this map, the Crop Production Department recommends that localities should pay attention to proper seasonal calendar arrangements to help farmers avoid the adverse effects of the weather and to develop plans for crop restructuring.
