National Assembly seeks solutions to achieve sustainable development

VTV.vn - Monday morning, the conference "The National Assembly and the Sustainable Development Goals" started in Danang City with the participation of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, who claimed that sustainable development is inevitable for Vietnam.

The chairwoman also said the Vietnamese National Assembly had issued the 2013 Constitution, as well as approved and amended more than 300 laws in a bid to help Vietnam achieve sustainable development goals over the last 15 years. The conference, jointly held by the National Assembly, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the United Nations Development Program, focuses on discussing sustainable development agendas and legislative bodies. The event is expected to make recommendations for Vietnam to address challenges in realizing sustainable development goals.
