National Assembly enters last working day

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan delivered a speech concluding the sixth session, asserting that consensus has been found over important matters.

The National Assembly elected Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to hold the State President position. Later on, the NA ratified the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), making Vietnam the seventh country to ratify the treaty.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also suggested deputies continue promoting the spirit of renewal and be more active in legislative work.
