National Assembly Chairwoman receives World Peace Council president

Speaking at the meeting Ngan hoped the WPC would continue to mobilise progressive and democratic forces to ensure peace, solidarity, stability and development in the world. She also expressed the hope that the council and others members of the council would continue to cooperate with and support Vietnam in protecting and developing the country.

The WPC president hailed Vietnam’s position in the world. She promised that the council and its members would continue to call for solidarity between peoples for world peace.
