NASA announces hottest month on record
VTV.vn - Prolonged hot weather over recent days in Vietnam’s north, have been seen throughout the northern hemisphere. According to analysis released by NASA, May was the warmest month recorded.
May was the 13th consecutive record-breaking year for temperature. The global temperature in May was 0.93 degrees Celsius higher than the 1951-1980 average. Experts have suggested that the La Nina weather phenomenon might reduce global temperatures in the near future, but is more likely to have a stronger impact next year.
