VTV.vn - A street cultural festival entitled “Welcome to Moscow” opened at the Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, on November 30.

This event was part of “Moscow Days in Hanoi”, which celebrates the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties, along with the Vietnam Year in Russia and the Russia Year in Vietnam.

The two capital cities have joined hands to organise a wide range of events between November 28 and December 1 with the aim to strengthen solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and Russia, and between the two capital cities in particular, thereby boosting cooperation and experience exchange across multiple fields.

In addition, a ballet performance at the Hanoi Opera House, exhibitions on Moscow’s landscapes and Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, along with a friendly football match, were also held.

Within the framework of the event, a signing ceremony was held for a cooperation agreement between the two capital cities in the 2020-2023 period, along with seminars sharing the cities’ experiences in labour, employment and social welfare, healthcare, urban environment, trade promotion and tourism.
