More technical barriers for Vietnam’s Agriculture

China announced that it would not accept Vietnam’s pest control certificate and will establish its own monitoring body. The move will directly affect Vietnam's rice exports to China. South Korea only accepts 29 ingredients in the list of plant protection drugs that they have announced. If this standard applies, only 2 ingredients used for Vietnamese coffee are accepted. Other markets such as Indonesia, Japan, also have stringent regulations on food safety inspections.
