VTV.vn - Many overlapping cultural layers with relics of architecture, sewerage systems have been found in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in 2015, according to an announcement in Hanoi on Monday.

This archaeological pit contains artifacts from different dynasties such as Ly, Tran, and Nguyen. Thang Long Imperial Citadel was recognised as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2010. Since then, scientists have been working hard to unearth its underground structure in order to fulfill Vietnam’s commitment in heritage preservation.
