More abandoned land due to droughts

VTV.vn - In Quang Nam Province, prolonged droughts and salinity have threatened nearly 26,000 hectares of crops and aquaculture.

Many areas have been abandoned for being unable to produce. People are struggling to fight salinity.

So far, Quang Nam has nearly 1,000 hectares of abandoned rice land and about 12,000 hectares under threat. Amidst the fierce heat, the risk of damaged and abandoned areas increases.
