'Mom, Where is Dad?', the first Vietnamese TV series produced in accordance with American standards
VTV.vn - "Mom, Where is Dad?" is one of the rare dramas of recent times without any promotional or broadcasting activities before being aired. It was not until the press briefing that the film production crew revealed information, pictures and cast of the film.

"First of all, this is a strict agreement between VTV and 20th Century Fox and we have to comply with it. Every episode has to be sent to the US for them to monitor the technical quality, image and content before being officially released. This is a challenge for us, the professionals.” said Do Thanh Hai - Director of Film Production Center of Vietnam Television (VFC).

"Mom, Where is Dad?" deals with everyday life stories, conflicts in the family between husband and wife, parents and children in adulthood, contradictions due to generational differences.

Forty two episodes are 42 independent stories, exploring the very different aspects of familial life. It could be a argument between husband and wife over the way of teaching children; between grandparents and children in raising nephews, etc.
