Ministry of Industry And Trade to reduce power bills
On Thursday, the Ministry of Industry and Trade officially sent a document to guide its local departments across the country and Electricity Vietnam regarding the cutting of power bills for businesses and households to help them cope with COVID-19.
Accordingly, this reduction will be applied to household invoices in May, June, and July. Electricity bills will be reduced for households with consumption of less than 300kWh a month by 10%. Producers and firms will also enjoy a 10% cut. Medical facilities that examine and treat COVID-19 patients and hotels used for isolation will enjoy a 20% cut.
