Methamphetamine transporter arrested in Ha Tinh

At 9 am on Sept 6, Xong Giong Ha, born in 1990, was arrested for trafficking 10kg of methamphetamine at the 83rd kilometre of Highway 8A crossing Son Kim 1 commune, Huong Son district.

Xong Giong Ha is a Lao citizen living Nam Phao village, Kham Cot district, Bolykhamxay province. He confessed to transporting the drug for a Laotian man to Vietnam. The drug transporter was born in Nghe An province and had acquired Laotian citizenship after living in Bôlykhămxay province for several years. The investigation is still on-going.
