Love Station: A wheelchair-bound woman's paper crane dream
VTV.vn - Affected by Agent Orange, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (b. 1982, My Duc, Hanoi) could not walk like her peers.

Appearing at the Love Station with colorful paper cranes, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung revealed that paper cranes are a symbol of luck, optimism and hope. When she holds a paper crane in her hand, she always thinks of the good things in life. That is also the reason why Ms. Nhung named her volunteer group.

Born into a farming family, because her father was an Agent Orange sufferer, at the age of 3, little Nhung could not yet crawl or learn to walk on her own. The family ran everywhere in search of treatment and wherever they heard there was a way to cure the disease, Nhung's father took his daughter there.

The father is always tormented because he thinks he caused his daughter to be disabled for life, but the 8X girl always silently thanks her father for helping her to be born into this life. The letters about her father not only helped Nguyen Thi Nhung win prizes in many writing contests, but were also a way to thank her beloved father.

In 2015, Ms. Nhung's Paper Crane volunteer group was born with the motto "Connecting hearts, sharing love." From two members, the volunteer group now has more than 20 official members and hundreds of supporters who are teachers, students and staff.

There were smiles and even tears falling on the Love Station stage. What moved the owner of the Paper Crane volunteer group so much? The touching journey of those warm wishes will be told in the 10:00 family time slot on Saturday, November 4, 2023 on VTV1 channel.
