London symphony orchestra performs in Hanoi

The orchestra is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading ensembles. More than 100 musicians took part in the Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2026, themed "Embracing Hanoi’s Autumn".

The concert concluded with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, one of the Russian composer’s signature works, known for its emotional depth, powerful climaxes and dramatic expressiveness.

Together, the three compositions create a musical journey across contrasting moods, moving from gentle, poetic beauty to powerful and dramatic orchestral sound.

Alongside the two main concerts, VACC 2026 features activities connecting the musicians with the community and classical music enthusiasts.

The programme gives audiences, particularly younger listeners, an opportunity to learn more about symphonic music, meet international musicians and gain a closer understanding of the artists behind the performances on stage.
