At this pivotal moment, as the nation embarks on a new phase of development filled with both opportunities and challenges, each of us is increasingly aware that we are living through historic days. As the world changes rapidly, the resolute policies of the Party and the State are driving profound transformations in Vietnam’s economy, culture, and society, building a powerful and prosperous nation. The present is becoming a history that will be remembered in the future.
Under the theme “Living With History”, Take Off April presents stories of Vietnamese individuals who have not only adapted to changing times but also helped write new chapters in the nation’s development. These are stories of resilience, innovation, and national contribution. The commentator guest of the episode is Dr. Pham Tat Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
Among the speakers featured in the April issue of Take Off is Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, who shares a story of innovation aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for the people at one of the country’s top referral hospitals. Another guest is Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Co-founder of MindX, one of five Vietnamese representatives listed in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 in 2023. From a poor rural background, she became the first in her family to attend university. Thanks to her relentless efforts, she succeeded academically and had the opportunity to expand her horizons beyond Vietnam. The more she traveled, the more she realized the critical role technology plays in life. Technology not only transforms an individual’s destiny, but it can also transform entire nations, and countless lives have already been changed by the classrooms she helped build.
The last speaker is Labor Hero, writer, and journalist Minh Chuyen. A former soldier who once fought directly on fierce battlefields, he has devoted his post-war life to building a unique museum — the Post-War Museum. This space not only preserves artifacts but also tells powerful stories of pain, sacrifice, and, above all, the resilience of humanity in the aftermath of war. More than a museum, it is a living memory, a voice that reminds us that peace is never a given, and that the past must be honored so that the present can be lived with compassion.
Take Off will be broadcast live on VTV1 at 20:10 on April 13, 2025. Don't miss this moving and inspiring episode!
