Links with Myanmar legislature increased

The visit is intended to reiterate the importance that Vietnam attaches to its ties with Myanmar and the wish to further promote co-operation across a variety of fields.

On the same day, NA Chairwoman met the Chairman of House of Representatives Uyn Min, where she affirmed Vietnam's desire to strengthen its traditional friendship with Myanmar. The Myanmar legislator called for further co-operation between the two legislatures, especially in terms of drafting legislation.
