Lai Chau Hydro Power Plant generates electricity
VTV.vn - Lai Chau Hydro Power Plant on the northern Da River, located above Son La Hydro Power Plant and Hoa Binh Hydro Power Plant began providing electricity to the national grid on December 14th.
The plant will also help control seasonal irrigation and water supplies. The operation of Lai Chau Hydro Power will increase the total capacity of the hydropower plants on the Da River to 6,500 MW, providing about 25 billion kWh of electric and bring power output value of about 1.2 to 1.3 USD billions annually.
