Kind Deeds in July: The People Lighting Up a “Sky of Compassion”

Compassion takes many forms, yet it connects us all under the same  sky . Some choose to return home and dedicate themselves to their communities. Others set out in the middle of the night  to help those in need. Some  open their hearts and homes so that disadvantaged children can grow up with the warmth of a family.

In the July edition of Kind Deeds, viewers will meet Tran Quang Huy, a veteran who has spent years raising funds through his “piggy bank” initiative to build libraries and community playgrounds. His efforts created better learning opportunities for children in his hometown. The program also features Nguyen Ngoc Nhat Hoang, a young man from Hue who is a member of the SOS 0 Dong 75 Hue volunteer team, who is always ready to respond to emergencies. Viewers will also meet police officers from Dien Bien Provincial Police at the Compassion - Friendship Shelter, where 40 Vietnamese and Lao children are cared for, educated, and raised together.

From a rural village on the outskirts of Hanoi to the streets of Hue and the border province of Dien Bien, these stories show that love for one's homeland is expressed through meaningful actions: creating educational opportunities, protecting strangers in times of need, and giving vulnerable children the care and security they deserve.

The July edition of Kind Deeds, with the theme “Sky of Compassion”, will be broadcast at 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2026, on VTV1 and the VTVgo app.
