Khanh Hoa Province aims to attract more Chinese tourists

Recently, China has become a new tourism market for Nha Trang City, Khánh Hòa Province, with an increasing number of high-end tourists from the neighboring country. With the industry facing difficulties, this growth is a positive sign for tourism in the Province.

Hearing about Nha Trang through promotion programs, Tang Zi Li from Sichuan Province, China planned a 5-day trip to Nha Trang City. He and his family were quite impressed with the city’s attractions.

Currently, China is the leading tourism market for Nha Trang. In the first 9 months of 2015, the city received 100,000 Chinese visitors, 5 times higher than last year. Most of these visitors travel by air and spend more time and money. Diversity of foreign arrivals to the Province has increased as a result.

Recently, Khánh Hòa Province authorities and local travel agencies have held a number of promotional events to introduce Nha Trang City to Chinese customers.

With the recent decline of the Russian market - one of the major tourism markets of Khánh Hòa Province, developing the Chinese market is now a new strategy for tourism in the central province.
