Joint Cuban-Vietnam party theory seminar

The seminar was considered a chance for the two sides to exchange experiences and discuss the roles and guiding methods of communist parties in developing the socio-economic models in both countries.

Also on the same day, a ceremony was held at the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations to announce that Truong Thi Mai, politburo member has become the new chairwoman of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association. Addressing the event, the new chairwoman hoped to closely co-operate with other friendship organisations in Vietnam to fulfil all the tasks in the new term.
