The event attracted some 4,000 visitors, most of whom are Japanese living in Hanoi.
Visitors had the opportunity to see traditional Japanese dances and costumes, like the kimono, as well as try typical Japanese food, such as takoyaki. Notably, over 4,000 old Japanese books donated by Japanese in Hanoi were on sale. The festival was a chance for Vietnamese people to learn more about Japanese culture and for Japanese people in Vietnam to get together. This is the 13th year that the event has been held.
