IPU representatives visit Can Gio mangrove forest
VTV.vn - Representatives from parliaments from around 20 Inter-Parliamentary Union member nations and international organisations have pledged to respond to climate change to achieve sustainable development goals at a conference held in HCM City.
They travelled to Can Gio District to visit the mangrove forest in the district the next day as part of the IPU conference's activities.
A day in the mangrove forest gave the visitors a vivid example of Vietnam's efforts to cope with climate change and protect the unique eco-system of the local region.
