International talks on family courts and minors

The seminar was organized by the People's Supreme Court in coordination with the European Union, UNICEF and the United Nations Development Program in Vietnam.

Nguyễn Hòa Bình, secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court chaired the talk.

Shelley Casey, a Unicef specialist based in Vietnam, presented her international experiences on child sexual abuse cases, specialized approaches to minors (underaged people) and practical measures. Judge Judy Ryan of the Australian Family Court shared her experiences in dealing with child-related issues, especially protecting children's rights in sexual abuse cases.
