International junior tennis tournament opens in Ninh Binh

As part of the International Tennis Federation’s junior world tour, the J30 Ninh Binh participation includes nearly 200 players from 18 countries and territories, including the host Vietnam.

The tournament is designed to help young tennis players enhance their skills and techniques.

It also allows Ninh Binh Province to introduce its socio-economic strengths, scenic spots and cultural sites to international friends.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Manh Cuong called on the players to practice good sportsmanship and create exciting and high-quality matches for the spectators’ enjoyment.

The tournament will run until November 24.
