International Hardware & HandTools Expo 2019 set for Dec in HCM City

A representative from the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad) stated that the event will cover a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, production, repair, assembly line, construction, and DIY devices.

Under the theme of “Industrial Revolution 4.0 and global supply chain”, the International Hardware & Handtools 2019 will be the pioneering event in the field of mechanics and handtools in the Vietnamese market, aiming to bring together high-quality cutting-edge technologies and products from a range of sectors.

The Vinexad representative added that with the presence of a number of prestigious international brands, this year's exhibition is designed to promote the domestic market attractiveness, thereby drawing additional investment and strengthening the transfer of technology and co-operation in developing the global supply chain.

Furthermore, the expo is aiming to create an environment which can elevate domestic brands, boost exports, and stimulate the use of domestic products.

Frank Yang, development director of the Asia-Pacific region for German manufacturer WERA brand, said Vietnam represents a potential market for the company, adding that the exhibition provides a venue for the firm to meet both foreign and local manufacturers to step up cooperation in the machinery and tool sectors.

Nguyen Hong Nhung, a representative of the exhibition’s organising board, said the event will serve as a bridge helping businesses seek additional business opportunities and enhance their chances of signing lucrative commercial contracts.
