Improved foreign relations

At the meeting, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan reiterated that Vietnam’s representatives abroad have made a great contribution to maintaining peace, national sovereignty and security as well as courting investment. She praised the on-going 29^th Diplomatic Conference which is focused on a foreign relations strategy set by the 12^th National Party Congress, and asked participants to further support overseas Vietnamese, protecting their rights and consult the National Assembly and government in developing foreign policies, and tightening relations with the governments of foreign countries.
