Imports from Laos subject to lower tariffs
VTV.vn - Starting Feb 14th, tariffs on several import items from Laos will be reduced by 50%, in accordance with the Ministry of Finance’s Circular 216.
These items include eggs, rice and sugarcane. The circular also includes requirements for imports to benefit from this cut in tariffs. The imports must have customs documents dated from after October 3rd 2015, be directly imported from Laos to Vietnam and meet the rule of origin requirements.
