Hue tourism rockets
VTV.vn - Despite the effects of slowed coastal tourism, the number of tourists to Thua Thien - Hue is still rising, at 1.3 million visitors, up by 25% compared to the same period last year.
In the first 6 months, tourist promotional and cultural events were held to attract more visitors, including the Hue Festival where new tourism products were introduced and promoted. Thua Thien Hue’s authorities have set the goal to attract 3.2 to 3.5 million visitors, and revenue to reach $146 to $150 million USD by the end of 2016.
