In its 3rd year, the Holi festival in Hanoi this year saw a 20% rise in participants compared to last year. The Holi festival is famous for paint-throwing revellers showering each other with colour, representing a tradition that is both meant to reflect the rainbow of colours associated with springtime and the playfulness of the Hindu God Vishnu. Currently, there are 600 Indians living in Hanoi./.
