Ho Chi Minh City leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery.
At the cemetery, the delegates observed a minute of silence to remember those who have sacrificed themselves for the country’s independence and the people’s happiness.
After offering flowers and incense, the delegates lit incense sticks at each grave, the resting place of nearly 14,500 fallen soldiers.
The delegation also visited and paid tribute to the late leaders and revolutionaries at the Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang.
On the same day, the delegates laid wreaths at the Ben Duoc Martyrs’ Memorial in Cu Chi District.
