In the first eight months of the year, retail sales of goods and services rose by 13.7% year on year, and exports by 7.82%. Industrial production grew by 10.8%, and foreign investment exceeded 10 billion US dollars.
Public investment remains a key growth driver. The city has earmarked 5.6 billion dollars for 2026, of which nearly 58% was disbursed as of the end of August. It now aims to speed up disbursement, attract more foreign investment, and remove investment bottlenecks to maintain growth momentum.
