HCMC delays deadline for metro line

It has prevented Japanese technical experts and the trains themselves from entering Vietnam. The testing of the rolling stock is a positive step in the right direction as the city plans to launch the service by the end of 2021.

The local authorities expect to receive two Japanese experts in the city.

They will be isolated for 2 weeks before working on the project. The route is expected to be 85% complete by the end of this year.
