HCM City to issue international drivers licences from 2016
VTV.vn - The HCM City Department of Transport has announced it will officially begin granting international driver’s licences to eligible applicants from 2016.
This delay is due to the late arrival of equipment to produce the licences. Hanoi and HCM City will initially process international driver’s licences. Residents of other localities will submit applications to the local authorities and receive their licences via post. The licence costs just 135,000 VND or 6.5 USD.
